The Smoking Ocotillos are equipped with professional-level instruments, lighting, and sound equipment. This allows us to be ready for any and all situations that arise. Nothing that we offer ever needs to be rented or charged an extra cost. When you book the Smoking Ocotillos, we have you covered.
Our instruments are at the top of the line in the industry and we have spared no expense. In particular, the drums are always at the forefront of conversation when playing in controlled-volume situations. In order to alleviate issues, we have the ability to assemble drum sets that are either acoustic or electric (but still appear acoustic), and or a combination of both.
Our multiple professional sound systems can be adapted on an individual basis to accommodate a small cramped stage or larger venues up to around a thousand people. We are also just as happy to plug into whatever system you have for your event or venue if it is capable in terms of quality and ability. We will never put ourselves in situations where the quality of sound is compromised.
If needed, we also offer a variety of stage lighting and smoke/fog machines. If that extra level of detail helps create a vibe for your event, we are happy to offer that at no extra cost.
Finally, we are “not that band” that shows up and blasts 120 decibels of face-melting sound. We easily adapt and have complete control using meters to continually keep volume levels at your preference. But, to be clear, if the occasion arises, just pass us a note on stage and we can also melt your faces off!
